BluegrassNet Voice, is an independently owned, commercial, regional ITSP based in Louisville, KY and a division of BluegrassNet. As a commercially oriented ISP, operating since 1994, BluegrassNet was looking to secure its long term viability.

By adding voice to its portfolio of other services (web hosting, collocation facilities, metro Ethernet, WiMax), BluegrassNet Voice realized that such viability was through the ability to deliver carrier grade converged voice and data services. As a result of its own successes in Asterisk based voice+data services, BluegrassNet Voice now provides consulting solutions for other ITSPs around the world as well as on-premise PBX solutions as a VoIP systems integrator.
